ARRI and Friends - The Future of Filmmaking
ARRI will be hosting an ARRI and Friends event at the ARRI Stage London from the 9th – 11th June 2022.
ARRI Studio London, 2 Highbridge, Oxford Road, Uxbridge, Middlesex, UB8 1LX.
This event will be a unique opportunity to see the future of filmmaking first-hand and the benefits of mixed reality production.
You will get the opportunity to see first-hand the advantages of mixed reality shooting and speak with CODEX, ARRI, and other creative technology experts. Recently installed, the studio boasts 45 of the latest ARRI lighting fixtures.
CODEX will be showing the Transfer Drive - a high performance dual-Thunderbolt 3 desktop storage device with 8TB removable storage media. Accelerating your workflow from Set to Post.
The CODEX MediaVault R1200 rackmount will also be on show, with a potential 168TB capacity, enabling Productions to keep entire Projects Live and equip Editorial / VFX with all the files they need over 6 x 10GbE network ports.
Finally the MediaVault Edge - a state of the art Edge Storage Device delivering data to CODEX Global Drive, via the 8TB Transfer Drive along with it's own pool of local storage.
CODEX Global Drive is a single storage location for your production assets, bringing together the set and the studio, incorporating edge storage and processing with high-speed data transfer. It allows its users to deploy a network of devices enabling the capture, storage, transformation, and distribution of these assets among those devices and in the cloud.
