BRIDGING THE STORAGE GAP WITH MEDIA VAULT
Codex will also be demonstrating the new Media Vault Desktop storage solution. Media Vault bridges the data gap from near-set to post production. Network attach over 10GbE to the latest Apple iMac Pro and start copy files for file sharing and playback from your favorite tools. Media Vault is ideal for archiving the original camera negative and reading back from for generating dailies. Use with any commercial post production application such as Apple’s FCPX, Adobe Premiere, BlackMagic Design da Vinci Resolve. A fine-tuned ZFS file system and 2TB of NVME cache provide high-speed playback for 4K files and beyond and allow a shared workgroup access to the files for VFX turn overs and 4K review. Use with Codex ColorSynth with Keys and other tools to provide a desktop ecosystem for television, feature, and commercial content creation.
