Production Suite

Production Suite 5.2 is the final release version of this software product. This is compatible with macOS 10.13, 10.14, and 10.15.

All versions of Production Suite are superseded by the latest Device Manager, which provides a simplified workflow with High Density Encoding (HDE) support and a ‘no licence’ model for accessing data from CODEX media.

Licensing and Technical Support on macOS

For customers running Production Suite on macOS, software technical support will be phased out from December 2020.

Current Production Suite licenses will continue to function, but no new licenses will be available to purchase.

Customers are encouraged to migrate their systems to the latest Device Manager. If you require assistance migrating from Production Suite to Device Manager please contact us.

Documentation for legacy software products will remain available on the X2X support website, including User Guides and FAQs for Production Suite.

Hardware on macOS

The following products are no longer manufactured and spare parts and servicing is not available for these devices.

Contact your CODEX sales representative for information about upgrade options.

Contact the CODEX support team if you require compatibility information on peripherals such as cables and power supply units.

An upgrade program is available for CDX-75013/75014 (SXR Thunderbolt 2 Dock) to convert the device to CDX-75013-1/75014-1 (SXR Thunderbolt 3 Dock). Contact your CODEX sales representative for more information.

Vault XL and S Series

Software and Hardware

Production Suite 5.1 will be the last software version for Vault XL and S Series. After this release the software will enter a maintenance period whereby the only changes will be critical bug fixes until the end of December 2021.

All owners of Vault XL and S Series hardware are eligible for a free software upgrade to Production Suite 5.1. Any owners who paid for a software upgrade after January 2020 are eligible for a refund.

Servicing

Servicing and spare parts for Vault XL and S Series will be available until the end of December 2020*. After this time any servicing work on these appliances will be undertaken at the discretion of CODEX.
