Capture Media

CODEX capture media represents the pinnacle of performance, robustness, and reliability for film and television production. Through our long association with ARRI we have recorded and delivered billions of cinema quality images.

The current generation of CODEX capture media is the Compact Drive and integrated into the ARRI ALEXA Mini LF, ALEXA 35 , ALEXA 35 Xtreme, and ALEXA 265 cinema cameras.

Storage Media

CODEX Storage media takes our reputation for speed and reliability but pushes capacity to another level.

Transfer Drive is integral to the workflow for the ARRI ALEXA 65 camera.

Transfer Drive is also available at larger capacities up to 32TB, and can be used as high performance transfer media for any camera workflow.

CODEX High Density Encoding (HDE)

CODEX High Density Encoding (HDE) is an Academy and Emmy award-winning lossless compression technology for original camera data.

Through our HDE Partner Program and integrations by a selection of industry-standard backup and data management softwares, HDE has become firmly established as a way to maintain the full quality of original captured data while significantly reducing storage costs and transmission times.
